Part 3: Jerry welcomes to the show Rep. Roy Blunt, House Republican Whip, to talk about Veterans voting issues, particularly breaking down the barriers standing in the way of Veterans and soldiers overseas during elections.

Part 4: The National Defense is proud to speak with VFW National Commander, George Lisicki, live from Kuwait. Jerry talks with the National Commander about his visit to Iraq, including a more than exciting trip back to Kuwait from Iraq.

Part 1: The National Defense is out on location at the WWI Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, MO to support "Save The Flame", a fundraising effort to keep the eternal flame lit atop the nation's WWI memorial. (www.savetheflame.org ) Randy and Jerry open up the show with a performance by an Iraq war veteran performing the National Anthem, as well as speaking to one of the people responsible for spearheading this event, Jeannie Carlson, who birthed the “Save the Flame” idea.

Part 2: Guests aplenty at the "Save the Flame" rally as the National Defense welcomes Carl DiCapo, chairman of the Development Committee for the Liberty Memorial and Kristine Krausse a community relations specialist for the Locton Companies, a sponsor of the "Save the Flame" campaign. Then, Jerry and Randy are pleased to be joined by the man in charge, Brian Alexander, CEO and President of the WWI museum & Liberty Memorial to talk about the efforts to preserve this fantastic piece of American history.

Part 2: A great interview with Joel Kupersmith, MD – Chief Research and Development Officer, Veterans Health Administration, regarding the Veterans Administration rejecting accusations that it is running a smoking-cessation study of the drug Chantix on veterans with PTSD without informing them of risks such as suicidal behavior. The VFW has demanded to get to the truth on this subject, and this is a great interview with Jerry and Dr. Kupersmith.

Part 3: Some better news about the G.I. Bill with Eric Hilleman, Deputy Director, National Legislative Service. Jerry and Eric have another discussion over this bill, and the VFW's efforts regarding this important issue.
