Prt. 2: Jerry and Randy welcome Pete Hegseth to the National Defense to discuss his program, Vets for Freedom (vetsforfreedom.org).

Prt. 3: The National Defense speaks with Kaziah Hancock, an artist that has been painting portraits of fallen U.S. soldiers to give to their families. A very entertaining interview.

Prt. 4: Randy and Jerry speak with VFW Nat. Commander Gary Kurpius about his recent trip to Iraq, and what he was able to see on his trip. The VFW National convention is coming up in Kansas City as well.

Prt. 1: National Defense open the week's show with a conversation on the Diane Sawyer interview with General Petraeus and her 3-strike attempts to make him look bad.

Prt 2: Randy and Jerry interview Mrs. Laura Stultz, wife of General Stultz, on the sacrifices and hardships families face when loved ones are deployed.

Prt. 3: Randy and Jerry talk about the sad aspects of child abuse in military families, and the media distortions when reporting child abuse related stories.

Prt. 4: Jerry and Randy give the weekly M.A.P. Update and speak to Kim Slong of the Ladies Auxiliary in Arizona.

Pt 1: The National Defense opens up their show with a highlight of the VFW's M.A.P. program, and speaks with Senior Master Seargent Amber Putnam near Rammstein Air Force Base in Germany. This segment highlights the work that the M.A.P. program performs for injured service members of the United States military.

Pt 2: The National Defense is proud to welcome the new commander at Walter Reed Medical Center, Major General Eric Schoomaker, and get the straight truth on the situation at Walter Reed, and what is being done to assure that our nation's wounded soldiers are getting the best care possible.

Pt 3: Jerry and Randy continue their discussion Maj. General Schoomaker, as he illustrates the signature causes of injury for soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Pt 4: Maj. General Schoomaker continues bringing the truth to the National Defense on he and his staff's efforts at Walter Reed Medical Center, including the disability system, and the current medical evaluation board system.

Part 3: The National Defense highlights the VFW's "Unmet Needs Program" by discussing another family in need of assistance after their soldier returned home with brain damage from and I.E.D. attack while serving in Afghanistan.

Part 4: Randy and Jerry discuss the VFW's "Operation Uplink Program" and let you know what you can do to help keep American troops in touch with their loved ones at home. The National Defense also runs down it's weekly "Hot List" of topics. "Hot Topics" covered this week include the resignation of the Sec. for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Jim Nicholson, the capture of a top al-Queda operative in Iraq, and the recent all-nighter that the U.S. Senate pulled.
