It seems like every day we learn more about the connections between Ft. hood shooter Nidal Hasan and radical islam. John and Cisco got the latest from Eben Brown with Fox News Radio live in Texas. During his speech at Fort Hood yesterday President Obama said that the shooter "will be met with justice -- in this world, and the next." Does it bother you when the President of the United States goes that far into religious territory? The family of a Texas boy mauled to death by pitbulls are taking down a makeshift memorial at the site of his death. They are taking it down because the property owners are asking them to take it down, the property owners just happen to also be the owners of the pitbulls who mauled the boy to death. Senator Jim DeMint has introduced a bill in the Senate that would institute term limits. Do you think that is a good idea?

American Family Association calls for a ban on Muslims in the military. Do you think it is a good idea to bar Muslim's from serving the country in light of the Fort Hood shootings? The Chicago Public School District is expanding its Arabic language program to three additional schools and adding more online instruction in the language. The moves are paid for by a three-year $888,000 U.S. Department of Education grant.

Web anonymity under fire update: A judge has ruled that Buffalo Grove trustee Lisa Stone is entitled to know the identity of the poster who made disparaging comments about her 15-year-old son on a newspaper’s Web site. There's new evidence that the Ft. Hood shooter may have had contact with Al Qaeda members. Plus, plenty of people seemed to voice concerns. The new movie with John Cusack is creating renewed interest in the Mayan calendar and the idea that they predicted the end of the world. Former Cubs slugger/albatross Sammy Sosa may be the next Michael Jackson. A sixth grader in Plainfield has been expelled for a year after stabbing a classmate with a pencil. Is that a fair punishment or more zero tolerance insanity? The House passed the health care bill late Saturday night. Since the vote was so closes in the House, it seems DOA in the Senate. Lindsey Graham says so. Massachusetts Man Says He Was Fired for Telling Colleague Her Gay Marriage Is Wrong. Does that count as harassment and reason for termination? Joe Leiberman has announced and investigation into the Ft. Hood shooting. He says that the Army should have zero tolerance, and if any of the supposed warning signs were actually true, the army should have shown him the door. Should they be able to drum you out on the grounds that they believe you might be an islamofascist? On Friday we learned that the unemployment hit 10.2% for the month of October. Did you watch the Yankees ticker tape parade? Apparently at one point they ran out of ticker tape and started showering the World Champs with your personal financial information. Ennis, a town in County Clare, Ireland, is dealing with a severe public urination problem. One guy installed a device that administers an electric shock when you pee on his wall. One city council member wants to appoint two “urine wardens” to patrol the streets on weekends looking for drunks peeing in public. The Minnesota kid who fled chemo because of his family’s religions beliefs did eventually get treatment, and now he’s cancer free. Chicago Department of Public Health officials say they’ve vaccinated almost 51,000 people against the swine flu. Big John Howell will be the 51,001st on Wednesday.

Some people close to the Ft. Hood shooter have said that he as unhappy about being deployed overseas. What were there signs? What could the motivation have been? The tragedy at Ft. Hood has left the military community reeling, and many questions left to be answered. Terror From Above: North side house was hit by giant chunks of ice from the sky. It’s more than likely from an airplane, the FAA is investigating. Mark Kirk sent Sarah Palin a memo asking her to say some positive things about him. Since he has some stances that are at odds with Palin, would you have less respect for her if she endorsed Mark Kirk? CTA scare: The doors of a Red Line train closed on a stroller, dragging it to the end of the platform where a 22-month-old girl inside the stroller fell out. Another school nurse vaccinated a child without the parents permission. This time it ended up sending the kid to the hospital. The GOP will finally introduce their own health care plan this week. Buried within the 1,990 pages of the democratic party's bill are at least 13 new taxes and 111 new levels of bureaucracy. Amanda Carpenter is the Hot Button columnist for the Washington Times, and had a look at the most important parts of the health care bill.
