Do you feel the leaked information from a global warming alarmist organization is meaningful?

With yet more apologies to Jeff Foxworthy, you just might be a liberal if...

* You blame the oil companies for high gas prices, but believe in doing everything humanly possible to keep them from drilling for more oil.

* You'd have no problem with a Democratic President talking with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad or Kim Jung-Il without conditions, but would be very upset if he started seriously negotiating with Republicans over national security or energy issues.

* You don't see a conflict between "supporting the troops" and trying to insure that they lose the war that they're fighting.

* You think the solution to an underperforming economy is higher taxes, more regulations, and publicly attacking businesses, but don't understand how that relates to the phrase, "The beatings will continue until morale improves."

* You're surprised that people don't think you're patriotic just because you were photographed not holding your hand over your heart during the national anthem and made a big deal out of refusing to wear a flag pin.

* You tell everyone who'll listen that Bush is "worse than Hitler" and that Republicans are fascists, but you never stop to consider that if that were true, you'd be dead or in a gulag already.

* You think Christmas songs at school plays shouldn't be allowed because they might offend people who don't believe, but don't understand what the problem is supposed to be with government funded "art" that defiles Christianity.

* Your idea of "reparations for slavery" is white people who have never owned slaves giving money to black people who were never slaves, more than a hundred years after slavery ended.

* You "assure us that deterrence will work, but when the time comes to deter, (you're) against it." -- Ann Coulter

* You think celebrities are just exercising their right to free speech when they criticize conservatives, but believe that the celebs are having their First Amendment rights abridged if anyone criticizes them for their comments.

* You called George Bush, "George Herbert Walker Bush," and George Allen, "George Felix Allen," but think someone referring to Barack Obama as "Barack Hussein Obama" is a racist.

* You think we should give condoms to thirteen year-olds because "they're going to do it anyway," but feel that we can get rid of every gun held by criminals in the U.S. simply by making them illegal.

* You think Anita Hill was telling the truth about Clarence Thomas, but Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Linda Tripp, Dolly Kyle Browning, Sally Perdue, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broaddrick -- among many others -- are all lying about the Clintons.

* You "are willing to do whatever it takes to defend the American public from terrorists...as long as the French and Germans say it's OK."

* You continually claim that we don't do enough for the poor, but you want to add 12-20 million more of them to the ranks by giving illegal aliens American citizenship.

* You blame "society" for creating the conditions that turn people into criminals, but you don't think that gives "society" even more of a moral obligation to lock those criminals away so that they won't hurt innocent people.

* There's a conflict between America and any other country, over just about any topic, and you're more likely to side with the other nation than your own.

* You believe that fanatical Muslims who want to fly planes into our skyscrapers aren't a serious threat to the U.S., but Christians are.

* You think we can improve our health care system by putting the same government that brought us FEMA, ICE, Airport Security, and the IRS in charge of it.

* You believe that conservative criticism of Barack Obama's abilities is primarily driven by racism, but actual race-based criticism leveled at Clarence Thomas, Michelle Malkin, and Condi Rice by liberals obviously has nothing to do with race.

* You live in a great and free nation like America and can use phrases like "audacity of hope" or "speaking the truth to power" without the slightest hint of irony.

* You say, "Why do they hate us?" when America is attacked and "we're just furthering the cycle of violence" when we retaliate.

* You generally mean "threatening to the interests of the Democratic Party" or "Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton needs some more money" when you use the word "racist."

* Your first thought after hearing that someone who publicly criticized murderers actually murdered someone himself is, "What a hypocrite!"

* You tell anyone who'll listen that our elections are fraudulent and then you fight tooth and nail to prevent states from requiring a photo ID to vote.

You might be a liberal if
You are outraged by the waterboarding of three terrorists, but have a soft spot in your heart for Fidel Castro.

Liberal ???
What the Founding Fathers gave us was liberalism. I do not know what the hell you are talking about and the author obviously does not either. And, yes, I'm probably wasteing my time on some Randi Rhodes/ Sean Hannity site. Figure it out for yourself.

Response to "You might be a liberal if".
You might be a liberal if:
You're a rock 'n' roll musician, CONCERNED, as you are, about free speech for all, but you object to conservatives or Republicans who incorporate your music into anything they do, e.g. Bruce Springsteen's criticism of Ronald Reagan's mention of his song "Born In the USA" in a speech, or, more recently, the band Boston's complaints about Mike Huckabee's use of one of their songs, which one I don't recall, during his run for the Republican presidential nomination.
As much as I hate to say it, what a bunch of phonies.

Lost...
...rationalize the daily slectrocution of Americans by the police...
Would you rather the police SHOOT them?
You'd be crying either way...right?

LIBERALS!!
YOU HATE YOUR COUNTRY BUT THAT NO ONE QUESTION YOUR PATRIOTISM!! YOU MIGHT BE A LIBERAL IF YOU ARE CONSUMED WITH THE SELFISH, ARROGANT GREED FOR POWER!

Electrocution of Americans
You abhor the "torture" of terrorists at Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo but rationalize the daily electrocution of Americans by the police.

The "Pink" Nazi Brigade Is Nasty!
You might be a liberal is you believe inserting your ding-dong into an anus filled with feces automatically qualifies you to "marry" said orifice and call yourselves man and wife - well for at least a month, or until you meet another "prettier" anus and get divorced, whichever comes first.

If...
...you believe in natural God given human rights...but hate any expressions of the faith that gave them to you.

...disregard everything the founding fathers did or said because some were slave owners.

...you claim everything in Americas founding is born of corruption, racism, religious fanaticism and white male power structure, reject all American values...hate everything your country is, platform to change it to everything it isn't...but still insist you love your country.

...think catching terrorists is an assault on our freedoms...but bigger government and socialism isn't.

...you think drum circles and tired activist shouts are "making a difference".

...inject multiculturalism, atheism, moral relativism into public schools and then accuse the faithful of "brainwashing" when they teach their children about God.

...refute the terms good and evil...except when talking about GWB or conservatism.

If...
...you think the MSM is truly "mainstream" and FOX is a right wing propaganda tool.

...your young and impressionable

...capitol punishment is murder. Abortion is a right.

...you already made the "choice" to have sex...but when asked to deal with the consequences of your choice...you insist you still have to exercise your right to choose.

...get angry when someone claims to be in support of "family values"

...you tolerant of all viewpoints except those that differ with your own.

Jon, mn
Don't you think criminals are going to do it anyway?

time for your nap kiddies
isnt this fun? like making sandcastles only to have them wash away when rality in the form of the tide washes them away. And do thank god for reality. But its good exercise, for growing and developing minds all of which seem to have a long way to go. for 3 and 4 year old minds . it doesnt mean anything and thank god these3 and 4 year old minds cant vote for a few years. they nmight bring back a prohibition against bundling . because almost all of them will grow up, although it will certainly take some of them a lot longer than others. then they may even get some sense, although the issue is in doubt. .

"* You blame the oil companies for high gas prices, but believe in doing everything humanly possible to keep them from drilling for more oil."

Oh, yeah, the offshore drilling? Can anyone tell me when that will affect the price of gas? Or how much big oil stocks will go up with those extra assets on the balance sheet? If they start drilling today by the time the oil comes on line we won't need it anymore. The extra supply will just drive down the price of oil.

So, you are the CEO of a Big Oil company. Why would you want more supply on the market? More leases, yes. Good for the balance sheet. Good for stock prices. But more supply = lower gas prices = lower profits = lower stock prices = pissed off stock holders = a couple billion dollar pat on the butt as they show you the door. Oops, maybe I took that too far. Guess it depends on whether the CEO wants to retire or not.

Jose

You might be John Hawkins if..
You perpetrated a hoax that was investigated by Snopes.com and bragged about it as "inspiring an urban myth" in you author biography.

so Joe
Your suggestion for the oil problem is to tax it more and to charge the consumers more? The oil companies will raise the prices to match the taxes that the wonderful libs would love to put on them. BRILLIANT! Libs do have one idea right but they have it going the wrong way. Wealth is not static, meaning just because someone has more then obviously someone else must have less....unless that wealth is being transferred to the government. The government is the biggest blackhole for money that we have. The larger the organization the larger the bureacracy the more inherent the inefficiencies. I would rather the money be dumped to the oil companies than the government ANY day of the week (more money for the more intelligent and productive out there i.e. investors) than our government. You start hacking off some of the pork and some of the taxpayer funded items (umm ACLU and Planned Parenthood just to name a couple) then I might be more willing to say you go ahead and try to scam me for more money Mr Government Man.

You are convinced that the Government is going to do a great job of running the "universal health care system" and the "savings" will more than pay for the cost of the system, but haven't thought of all the people who will waste more of the national health care resources once they find out it is free.

You might be a liberal if you think that the government will allocate resources for health care in a more effective way then the free market.

You might be a liberal if you don't realize that 12 million illegal immigrants are just the tip of the ice berg if you allow them amnesty. There are several billion more who will consider coming to the US to share in the benefits if we are that stupid.

Ender - ''Liberals'' DON'T think
--
They *feel*.

When you get right down to it, the "Liberal" (and the expression is always used in quotes because these milk-and-water socialists are NOTHING REMOTELY RESEMBLING the political liberals of the 19th Century) predicate their every stance, every whine, every lip-tremble and snivel, upon their emotions.

Rational they're not.

Elsewise, they wouldn't be "Liberals."

In this, of course, they're just as brain-blown as the "social" pseudoconservatives who betray us with ever foul breath they exhale.

======
"Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face."

-- Thomas Sowell

@Lon, cont:
3. Would you please explain your response to this one? I've read it three times already, and I still can't make heads or tails of anything you're trying to state.

4. Your last, unnumbered paragraph contains a logical flaw. Conservatives believe that one should take responsibility for his/her own actions, but only for his/her own actions. I don't make others pay for what I've done; from what I've seen, that's the liberal line of reasoning.

I would also remind you that conservatives believe that actions have consequences - choosing to take the action includes choosing to deal with the consequences that result. Liberals, from what I've seen, seem to wish to take the actions with a guarantee that they won't face those consequences when the time arrives.

@Lon
1. I'm not sure I understand your response. You seem to be saying that the extra conditional is how liberals think, and then saying that because of this, it becomes a legitimate argument. If this is what you are trying to state, then I can only say that you are still incorrect. If I am mistaken in what you are trying to say, then I would ask that you clarify your statement a bit more.

2. Would you mind explaining to me how you can tell that the illegals are getting/not getting special treatment from the government regarding welfare activities, which it was my understanding are ostensibly only for citizens (and maybe legal immigrants - I'm not quite clear on that issue)? If they are, then your statement is correct. If, as the traditional liberal argument I've heard goes, they are not (because they don't want to be caught,) then you miss the point. They will be transforming from group A (who have no claim to -governmental- care of any sort) to group B (who do have such a claim, thanks to the government's basically yelling 'Come and get it!'). They're not being counted as 'not poor', they're being counted as 'not poor -citizens-'. And in either case, individuals, not goverments, are those called to care for the poor. To allow the government to do so is to negelect the call for Christian Charity (Love-in-action), because it allows the mentality of 'I gave at the office' to spring up.

politics
Liberalism is a mental disorder.

C_Miner - Most fiscal conservatives...
--
...tend not only to be minarchists (damn' near anarchists, barely willing even to put up with that minimum of government necessary to break things and kill people in order to deter foreign and domestic assailants) but also *REALLY* touchy about the fact that the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was the unholy result of a collusion between the "Progressive" (populist) Democrats of Wilson's ilk and the utterly criminal currency debauchers who have dominated the Republican Party since long before the War of Northern Aggression.

((My people came over from il Mezzogiorno in 1900, so I'm entirely free to call that conflict by its proper name. T'warn't nothing "civil" about it.))

If you want a reason why American conservatives are *NOT* Republicans - and view contact with the GOP in much the same way we consider resort to any similar unlimed outhouse - look up Clay's (Whig) "American System" of porcine perfidy and consider that it perfectly describes the core objectives of every Republican Party platform since Fremont.

Always - *ALWAYS* - you find the Republicans pulling every string, twisting every arm, jerking every pud, in order to steal by counterfeit from the private citizen the value of every least penny in that poor bastich's pocket.

The National Socialists (masquerading today as "Democrats") are worse, but the presence of a serial rapist stalking the neighborhood is no reason to turn your kids over to a sadistic child molester because you think he'll make a marginally better baby-sitter.

You believe in budgetary restraint;

1) On point one you are of course right that I made use of the actual position of people on the left to explain what was inane about his point. The fact that you think it is unfair to bring in what Liberals actual thing in responding to an attack on what liberals supposedly thing is a good illustration of what is so puerile about the Hawkins approach to debate.

2) There are many legitimate arguments that might be made as to why we should not grant asylum to the 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens in the country. Concern for the poor to the effect that now there will be 12 to 20 million more of them is not one of them. And the assumptions that would allow one to think it was are about as inconsistent with Christianity as on can imagine. After all the number of poor people in the country would not have increased. It is only the number of poor people of a certain type. So the argument requires assuming that as long as illegal immigrants are illegal they do not count as poor people. That is both inane and contrary to any reasonable understanding of Christianity.

3) If society is responsible for creating criminals then certainly society should be willing to pay what costs are necessary for avoiding the bad effects of society's actions. But Hawkins notion of being responsible noticably involves no sacrifice on societies points, but rather the increased penalties of the people victimized by society. It is hard to imagine a sillier parody of the notion of responsibility than saying that because we have done X and X causes harm, we must make other people pay more.

But maybe on the list of why one is a conservative should be the idea that one things that taking responsibility is making other people pay for the consequences of ones actions. I guess that would explain a lot about the last 8 years.

Right to privacy vs. being pro-choice
"It's about the government not being able to arbitrarily come into your home and take your stuff or throw you in jail without due process. They could do that in King George's day, you know. And this has exactly what to do with abortion?"

Umm, I'm pro-life.....

I disagree with the idea that there is no right to privacy. There is a right to privacy. If I am protected from arbitrarily being searched, that IS privacy. Like all rights, the right to privacy is forfeited when an infringement on another's rights occurs. As a free individual, if I don't commit a crime, I have the natural right to be left alone, or left to my privacy.

@Joe
Would you please explain why you're listing conservative points under the caption "You might be a liberal if:"? It doesn't really make sense.

You might be a liberal if:

You can make an argument without name calling;

You are skeptical of what you see on the tube;

You believe that "bearing false witness" includes email and blogs;

You consider views other than your own;

You check facts before sharing with your friends.

Big Brother is watching you
"Abortion is an item of privacy – govt stay out
Sodomy in private – govt stay out
Smoke dope in private – govt stay out"

Did you forget masturbation?

@Lon
1. You're adding an extra conditional to the point of election fraud. Unless you can prove that election fraud is occuring in ways that requireing and checking an ID card cannot prevent, then your point is invalid.

2. The problem with the poverty/citizenship issue is that those who are illegal might not be on the governmental teat, whereas most of the impoverished citizenry are. The problem with your comparison of it to christianity, is that christans are called to aid others themselves. They are not called to 'let someone else do it', which is the essence of governmental welfare systems.

3. If 'society' is responsible for creating the criminals, then 'society' bears the guilt of their crimes as well, albeit at one remove. Logically, then, 'society' should be doing as much as possible to see to it that they don't repeat those crimes. Otherwise, 'society' is seen to -approve- of those crimes.

JS Doc
True, I had intended to use the word "wealth" rather than "money". One of the many re-phrasings rendered it wrong.

Mea culpa.

puzzles
I used to think I was a liberal, but after reading this list I am somewhat puzzled since basically known of it reflects what I believe. I wonder if any actual liberals exist, if this is what this illusive group believes.

I am puzzled by some of the criticisms even of this possibly fictional group. Why would it be odd to object to photo ID laws while thinking our elections are fraudlent, if people voting in ways that would be addressed by such laws is not what makes elections fraudulent?

Why would it be hypocritical to worry about the poverty of people without regard to whether they are US citizens or not? This article seems to suggest that illegal aliens would be a bigger problem for poverty in America if they were citizens. But wouldn't anyone who cares about the least among us be glad that these impoverished people had the benefit of citizenship rather than be upset that the status of some of the poor had changed (and for the better yet). It is almost as if Hawkins is suggesting that a Christian has to be a liberal. And I am not sure that that is true.

And isn't there something bizarre in the idea that if we as a society were responsible for bad things that happened to people that we would have a stronger duty to punish those people. That does seem rather bizarre.

wheres the logic?
"You think we should give condoms to thirteen year-olds because "they're going to do it anyway," but feel that we can get rid of every gun held by criminals in the U.S. simply by making them illegal. "

please make jokes that actually make sense.

C_Miner - Er, a ''fixed total of money''
--
...would be a vast improvement on what we have right now - under the Federal Reserve System - by virtue of which we're suffering the issue of vast amounts of fiat currency (essentially "legal counterfeiting") that is destroying the value of every U.S. dollar in your wallet, your paycheck, and your bank account.

*Wealth* may not be something that is in "a fixed total," but wealth is not money.

And it sure as hell isn't currency.

Wealth is goods and services, running from the trivial (iPods, ice cream, eye make-up) to the essential (your home, the highway that gets you to work, your child's appendectomy).

Wealth is created by purposeful human effort, and is maximized by the operation of the free market.

That's a market free of government interference, including the meddling of "Liberal" economic regulation, taxation, rapine, pillage, and other forms of plunder.

By the way, you might be a "Liberal" if you think that government economic regulation is anything besides politicians and bureaucrats "picking winners" instead of getting to hellangone out of the way of customers determined to choose for themselves.

Always bear in mind the fact that the first President of these United States - the President of Congress, John Hancock - made his money and his patriotic reputation as a smuggler.

Tyrants *HATE* the free market.

"Liberals" are tyrants.

It's about the government not being able to arbitrarily come into your home and take your stuff or throw you in jail without due process. They could do that in King George's day, you know.

And this has exactly what to do with abortion?

more
* You believe that the economy has a fixed total of money and that the only way someone becomes rich is by taking from someone else.

* You believe that windfalls profits taxes will help even out everyone's share of the pie (above) without affecting the businesses being taxed.

* You believe that actors, activists and sports starts are exempt from the above rules.

* You believe that higher taxes and more governmental involvement make no difference to whether businesses grow or die.

* You think "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" is a good and just system.

* You think that if someone like you gets to determine different people's abilities and needs, socialism will work this time.

liberal if...
* you are generous with taxpayer money but give nothing to the poor from your personal funds
* you grew up rich, but claim otherwise (see Bill Clinton, Michael Moore) and then criticize the Republicans as rich
* you call Bush a liar for believing every major intelligence agency in the world when they said Saddam had WMDs, but you don't care that French, Russian, and German officials got rich off oil-for-food (along with Saddam)
* you criticize conservatives who support the war but don't join the military even though the vast majority in the military are conservative.

I KNEW you could do it...
...told 'ja there were more than 25!

Truth
You might be a liberal if words like truth only have abstract meaning, "real truth" is relative. Like when a group of patriots told the truth about John Kerry's real service record, the liberal version is that was a smear job.

@Duggy
Are you being serious, or facetious? I can't tell.

Audacity of Truth
Thank God that Obama took a trip to Europe and gave Americans a glimpse of the liberal agenda; globalism, one-world government, ambition wholly assimiliated with ego and selfishness.

The liberal establishment is anything but "liberal". As with a few GOP members, they're corporatists, socialists, hard-left and hard-center animals that will stop at nothing to control every tiny facet of our lives.

But I'm afraid the situation's going to get much worse before it gets better. God save our Consitution!

moonkeeper
I am not a constitutional scholar like Obama, but I have seen some articles on the 4th amendment.

Some argue that the intent of 4th amendment is to put hurdles for the govt to jump through before they can search or seize. The govt needs to provide probable cause and convince a court/judge.

Some people also argue that the interpretation has been expanding to be: Anything done in private is not concern of the government.

Abortion is an item of privacy – govt stay out
Sodomy in private – govt stay out
Smoke dope in private – govt stay out

Does anyone have a better explanation?

You might be a Liberal if
You find the latest Democrat a compelling and true intellectual, who's "Hope and change" platform will sweep the entire world and transform it into a Peaceful utopia.

Great list, great comments, one question
Concerning the idea that there is no right to privacy, what is the fourth amendment then?

Jerry

one believes focusing on gathering enough money to pay for health care will solve the problem (somehow the sucking hole of the medical industry can be filled, if you dump in enough money fast enough).

National Anthem
You might be a liberal if you complain about NBC showing our athletes receive their gold medals. You know, the ceremoney where the flag is raised and the national anthem is played.

You definitely are a liberal if you actually write or email NBC and request they stop this disgraceful practice.

You might be a Liberal if
You support The Mayor of Denver advocating suspension of Marijuana Laws during The DNC.

Health Care
* If you believe the federal government must provide everyone health care but vote against fully funding existing Veteran's Hospitals and services because they've become too expensive.

every one

We all know who is liberal and who is not, pointing it out is really fun though.

Great start to my day 5 stars!
So many great comments. So sad that so many are true and Libs don't even get it. Deception is rampant.

You might be a Liberal if ....
Polar Bears and Snail Darters are more important than people.

Opec, Hugo Chavez, Iran, and Russia will not hate us if we just "play nice" with them.

You believe that Freedom of Speech is OK as long as people agree with you.

You want the government to "take care of you".

You believe that morals are an old-fashioned idea, and that they are subject to change whenever "if feels right".

You think that Teddy Kennedy is a great visionary Senator.

You believe that government handouts will solve poverty "any day now".

"If you think the definition of 'privacy' has anything to do with abortion..."

Better item
"* You blame "society" for creating the conditions that turn people into criminals, but you don't think that gives "society" even more of a moral obligation to lock those criminals away so that they won't hurt innocent people."

25 REASONS WHY LIBERALS ARE MARXISTS

.....ALL OF THE ABOVE .....COLOSSUS

you might be a liberal...
If you think Shep Smith is a Right Wing extremist, but think Olberman calls it straight down the middle...

If you think freedom of speech means you also have the right to be listened to...

If you think freedom of religion should or does mean freedom from religion...

If you think taxing oil and gas companies will make for cheaper oil and gas...

If you think a right to privacy is guaranteed in the constitution...

If you think the definition of 'privacy' has anything to do with abortion...

If you have no problem with a non elected Judiciary legislating from the bench...so long as it supports your agenda...even if decisions run counter to the voted upon will of the people...

If you think George Soros has your best interests in mind...

If you're a college drop out, living in your mom's basement and you look down your nose at a 'dumb' military Officer...

If you don't see the irony of the statement: 'Liberals are rebels...'

Hawkins trying to be Letterman?
It seems that most of Hawkins' columns are lists. If you are going to be a writer, try to expand your repertoire.

liberal vs conservative
isn't the evidence of government coverup of 9/11; overwhelming yet ? is nobody concerned we are becoming a world domination power ? is nobody concerned the non governmental federal reserve is bankrupting the u s a ?

My greatest fear...
Is that at any moment, unless we do something to deter them, Evangelical Christians will start kidnapping liberals and beheading them on video and flying planes into the buildings on the lots of Universal Studios to retaliate against Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins speaking against the war...

Doing more for the poor
--
Says Mr. Sanders:

"You continually claim that we don't do enough for the poor, but you want to add 12-20 million more of them to the ranks by giving illegal aliens American citizenship."

Well, what the "Liberals" clearly want to do for these illegal aliens (who are admittedly already here and already predominantly poor) is to enable them to vote.

For "Liberal" politicians, of course.

To the "Liberal" way of thinking, the solution to everything is found in political action.

Government is Santa Claus, doing nice things for little boys and girls by conjuring all those goods and services out of thin air.

And you get government to do nice things for you by voting "Liberal" politicians into office, right?

According to the "Liberal" way of thinking, what other benefit could American citizenship possibly have?

=====
"Anyhow, it wasn't the process of voting that made a citizen — the Lieutenant had been a citizen in the truest sense of the word, even though he had not lived long enough ever to cast a ballot. He had 'voted' every time he made a drop.

"And so had I!"

-- Robert A. Heinlein, *Starship Troopers* (1959)

More you must be ..
* You continually claim that we don't do enough for the poor while those Women on Welfare have 66 % more babies than do both Parents that pay for their Babies . Yet your fore abortion on demand paid for by tax payers . Then you want to add 12-20 million more of them to the ranks by giving illegal aliens American citizenship and Social Security arriving here at 62-65 years of age .

A luxury American cannot enjoy .

**
* Your fore the Fairness Doctrine meaning Liberals should get 3 hours of equal time like Rush Limbough does but your not for it on PBS , NPR or our National Media .

* Your for the Right of Privacy Act found in our Amendments to our Constitution but Your for Union Votes to be made in Public in Front of those high Paid Union leaders and Organizers that decides on who works when where and how . Yet your fore you Vote on everything else to be in Private . And your Union should be allowed to take Funds our of your Dues and Retirement funds to support Liberal candidates .

You Might be a Lib
If you believe that all wealth is the property of and created by the government.
If you think that the only way anyone gets rich is by depriving other of their rightful share.
If you think Bush lied, but the Dope from Hope was totally truthful.
etc

I have added a few .

* You still believe The Rich don't pay Taxes because you Heard different but the National Government census report says the Top 10 of all Tax Payers pays 70 % of all Taxes in American while the bottom 50 % pays 2.9 % in taxes and gets back 21.3 % in Government programs .

You agree with Oboma and other Liberals in Congress that the 10 % at 70 % tax payers need to pay more in taxes and the 2.9 % or bottom 50 % need major tax brakes .
* You believe Pacifist can finally win one War in World History and bring the World peace . Not Young American Men and Women that Volunteer to serve this Country while you Protest Military recruitment centers on College Campus's but Credit Cards booths , Gay , lesbian

and Marxist recruitment Clubs are fine .

*You believe that the UN is the Answer to all Wars ,Genocide(can't decide to use that word Genocide after 9 years in DeFur ) , the Poor , World wide health care and hunger . And You like Oboma want to give the UN far more Billions of American tax payer dollars .

But their Funds and how it is spent is none of America's Business who pays 23 % of all UN funds .

The UN has none elected Democracies since 61 % of the Membership are not and they Vote Against America and Israel 91.6 % of the time .

* Lastly if you believe all that crap your a Liberal--> Socialist !

You might Be A Liberal
You oppose free markets, yet you do everything possible to use the internet to your advantage.

You complain about how America is not as prosperous as we used to be, yet you spend half your day playing with all the new gadgets that we now enjoy.

You argue that Democrats are better at managing the economy than Republicans are,yet you move from the Blue Northeast to the Red Southeast because their are no jobs in the Northeast and tons of jobs in the Southeast.

You believe that things are wonderful in Western Europe, yet Western Europeans spend half their day protesting and striking.

You believe that only the government can help the poor, yet your high school dropout parents made a ton of money by by-passing welfare to run a business that they devote 80 hours per week to.

This One Drives Me Crazy
"* You believe that fanatical Muslims who want to fly planes into our skyscrapers aren't a serious threat to the U.S., but Christians are."

--My militant leftist family is living proof of this. They used to tell me this all the time and it actually drove a gigantic wedge between us when they found out I completely disagreed.

Oh, and in their new found liberal propaganda readings, they now tell me that Mormons are taking control of the US and the entire school system. Their ultimate goal is to breed, take control of the government, and convert or kill all non-believers. They swear by this and think of me as s simpleton when I laugh in their face.

Liberalism is a mental disease.

I would gladly walk into a plane, a mall or a buss with a bunch of bible thumping evangelical devout Christians and Mormons any day, because I know for an absolute certainty I was safe and amongst people who wish me no harm.

I'll take my chances on Christians and Mormons anyday than being in a situation with Muslim extremists.

Higene
My 2000 year old guide book gives me the following advice that I find useful in the here and now:
A-Murder is a bad idea
B-Stealing is a bad idea
C-Forgiveness is a good thing
D-Everyone has the capacity to do great evil
E-Treat everyone fairly
F-When in a position of leadership be humble and learn to delegate.
G-Actions have consequences.

Obviously this is not a full list. Old doesn't necessarily mean obsolete.

As for a priesthood w/o experience of life that sounds so very Roman Catholic to me.
