It takes more than a high IQ to develop insight. We are all imperfect human beings in an imperfect world. However, there are a couple of virtuous combinations that define the superior man; courage with compassion and empathy with patience. Combined, these are far superior character traits than simple intellectual talents. Actually, a high IQ might impede the process, because it provides fertile ground for the germination of narcissism.

There is a reason that 21 has traditionally been the age required for full adult responsibility -- young people are nuts. Recently, that common sense adage has been reinforced by medical science, when it was shown that the human brain does not reach full physical development until approximately the age of 21. My point here is that our perceptions as Americans have been influenced by the traditions and culture that our founders passed on to us over the centuries. Unfortunately, we have been slowly drifting away from those foundational principals over the last century, and especially the last couple of decades. The perverted and false perceptions of today are destroying this great nation.
There are some truths that are self-evident. They are self evident to the perception of what is commonly known as, normal people. That is to say, people of normal intelligence and common experience. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." This self-evident truth was conceptualized by exceptional men, who came together in common experience, with a common religious underpinning, during an era of scientific and philosophical enlightenment. Their common perception of reality gave us the greatest and most successful experiment in government the world has ever known.
Obama is guilty of many acts of misfeasance, nonfeasance, and malfeasance. Under the law, all are contractual crimes. The President's contract with the people of the United States has been violated, therefore impeachment proceedings should be promptly initiated. While it would be impossible in our present climate of political corruption to prove "high crimes", "misdemeanors" should be a no brainier.
We must insure "that a government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth." This usurper is neither a Muslim, as some believe, nor the Christian he claims to be. On the contrary, he subscribes to the church of self, like the good little narcissist that he is. It is safe to say, if one looks into the mirror and sees God, one's name might be Obama.
The IRS scandal is but one example of the corruption that oozes from the Mistletoe- like fungus known as the administrative state. It is sucking the life out of our economy and culture with it's parasitical cells invading every aspect of our lives. It is high time we pruned the tree of liberty back to it's roots. This allegorical tree rooted in the fertile soil of the Declaration of Independence, and nourished by the blood of patriots, will continue to flourish as long as there are enough like minded Americans willing to sacrifice all...for liberty. Only about a third of the people that made up the population of the colonies actively supported the revolution, and far less actually fought in it. However, the entire population, and eventually even the slaves, benefited from the liberated society that resulted from the sacrifices of the few.I see no difference today, except that we have in the Constitution, a lawful and largely peaceful solution to effect a political revolution.
