I might be a litle dense on this but i am curious as to who would buy assets of a bankrupt city.If the city is bankrupt,that would include it's facilities.The people are still going to have to have the facilities and would still have to have the support of the residents who caused the problem to begin with!!! To me this would be like buying a dead horse.Why are they selling off these assets other than to fix "short term" financial problems.This is fuzzy thinking on the part of some governments.It is reminiscent of a bussiness man asking another how business was, to which he replied;business is good im loosing money every day,if it wasn't for the volume i couldn't stay in business.Don't make good sense to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would never work in my state.We have district county and highway facilities like the Taj Ma-hal. Somebodys got to support the inflated facilities.
